		The Derby Data Center is based on two state-of-the-art data center facilities in Colorado, USA. The primary site is hosted in Northern Colorado's largest colocation facility, which is owned and managed by Front Range Internet Inc. The back-up site is owned by ViaWest and is located 75 miles away in Denver. Data is automatically replicated at the back-up site so the solution provides built-in redundancy with two data centers in separate locations. Twin Battery Backup Systems FRII's power is conditioned and consistent thanks to the twin high-capacity battery backup systems. Monitored Video Surveillance FRII's round-the-clock NOC staff monitors every move made in the data center via a video surveillance security system. Redundant Internet over 1Gbps FRII has dual gigabit connections to upstream Internet providers, ensuring that the data center never loses connectivity to the Internet. Server Friendly Fire Suppression A multi-point fire detection grid controls FRII's environmentally friendly gas-based fire suppression system. This state-of-the-art system can safely extinguish any flame without causing damage to colocated systems. Redundant Generators Protection against power outage is covered by FRII's redundant generators that ensure the data center stays online, even through extended power grid failures. Temperature & Humidity Control FRII's climate control systems ensure that the data center is kept within strict temperature and humidity parameters. All control units are fully generator-backed and include redundant compressors and condensers. Security Access to the data center is only permitted to authorized personnel once a valid ID has been verified. All equipment is secured in separated locked server cabinets and the facility is monitored around the clock.
